Forget the Step by Step Guide to Success – Every Successful Man is a Ritualist!

September 1st, 2010

The three things that people need desperately in life are good health, strong bank balance and a loving relationship. The whole world is in dire need of these three vital life-sustainers. But it surprises me how few people are just on top of every situation in their lives, whereas a greater majority is wallowing in abject poverty.

I do not know how you feel about this ugly situation, but I am damn crazy at the partial arrangement. The issue here is that those who suffer much in life, who are supposed to have enough for themselves, are the poorest among us, giving out the impression that riches and wealth do not come through struggle. Otherwise, truck pushers, labourers, etc., should have been ruling and controlling empires.

I have watched people who go to work everyday from 9am to 5pm and still earn peanuts at the end. They keep enduring their snappy bosses just because there is no alternative to sustaining their families. One other problem here is that some of these workers can stay for more than 7 good months without salary, yet they must report to work everyday and on time, too, majority of the times they go to work on foot – trekking! Such treatments reduce the enthusiasm to work. For the simple fact that these workers have no control over their lives, as they are subject to the whims and caprices of their ever-demanding and difficult-to-please bosses, they still have to manage.

A lot of people may have been in such situations before, working round the clock but always indebted to people before the month ends. The moment salaries are paid, they always struggle to pay old debts only to find out that more new debts are fast accumulating. A vicious cycle you may say – living from pay-cheque to pay-cheque. It is such a horrible experience, and if you are there right now, you can have consolation reading this article.

Despondence can make you feel that you can never become somebody in life again. You have tried your hand in a lot of things in order to make it to the top, don’t give up; the life stories of the super-rich in the societies have shown that their success is not just ordinary, but there is something to it, and no successful man or woman can deny this fact. That is what made them say bye-bye to office bickering and politics; to working like an elephant and eating like an ant. You too can say bye-bye to job insecurity; to IOU and begin a new life – a life of freedom and feel happy welcoming people to your new life. A life where you wake from sleep at the time you like, and go to bed when you like – a life where you own and are in-charge of your actions.

Friend, I must have to tell you that although many people do not appear to realize how important having deep understanding of their problems in life is to them, yet no one who desires to get the best out of life should afford to remain ignorant. Those who broke out of poverty line are those who discovered on time that successful living demands an appropriate price from any person who wants it. That is, nobody is exempted from this ritual, and for success to be achieved, the process must be followed.

The rich and the mighty in any society maintain and follow a known lifestyle, and their behaviours sometimes can be downright obnoxious. Pompously, they strut around, behaving as though they are more superior to others. They often treat their employees as the scum of the earth, and these poor citizens accept such insults and inhumanity because the social structure in this our wealth conscious generation is so skewed against the have-nots. So, the under-privileged just suffer. Timid, poor, ignorant and cowered, they seek no redress. Other people may decide to remain as they were, taking all the insults and what have you, but I chose to break the cord of poverty in my life.

Friend, I do not know about you, but I mean what I say, and ever since I took that decision the whole world has been under my feet. The only thing you need now is to make yourself available for a complete initiation. Do not forget that I warned you earlier that every rich man or woman is a Ritualist. They carve out a pattern of life for themselves and follow after it rigidly, and that is what I want you to do. If you are ready, just follow me gradually.

1. God Is Supreme – To every successful man or woman, the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom. God is worshiped day and night and He never fails those who regard Him. Without God life is meaningless and every wealth acquired is nothing but dross. Knowing this fact, every successful man or woman takes it upon himself/herself to honour God everyday. It is a duty that must be accomplished and without it the programme for the day is scattered. The knowledge and fear of God prepares him for a successful launch out into the unknown. He believes and affirms daily that with God all things are possible. When God is honoured and glorified in your life, those things that slow you down, demotivate, and discourage you from visualizing possibilities for your future will disappear. However, with God in your programme, the pictures of your past, regretful action, bad decision, wrong relationship and thought of failure in business will no longer dominate your sub-conscious mind, to destroy your future.

2. Planning – Every successful entrepreneur takes time to plan his life and daily activities. Without proper planning nothing works as expected. When you plan well, you always hold to the fact that your future is very bright and colourful.

3. Patience – To be a successful entrepreneur, you must be patient and persevere to the end. In as much as you can discover your purpose and see the possibilities of attaining it, it is very important that you stick to the truth of your life.

4. Open-Handedness – To succeed as an entrepreneur, you must avoid greed. When you allow greed to becloud your sense of reasoning, you deny yourself one of the best ingredients of success. Greed will make you blind and cannot allow you to succeed in life. It is a dream. Be open to people and go after your dream without looking back.

Friend, this is the ritualistic processes every successful man or woman goes through in life. When you get initiated into them and follow after them rigidly, you make way for a successful life. It will surely come your way.

Maven: A Developer’s Notebook (Developer’s Notebooks)

This is a great book to get a quick introduction to Maven. At about 185 pages, it gets right to the point. It’s written using labs and each new one builds on the previous one.

I have used Ant and know how it works but was in the dark when it came to Maven. This book gave me the knowledge I needed to understand and modify an existing Maven project within the first two chapters.

It’s not a reference manual, and it’s not one of these 500 page tomes that weighs a ton but is light on substance. There’s real content in a very readable format in this book.

If you are new to Maven and are scratching your head tryiing to figure out what the heck this thing is doing, read this book and you will be enlightened!

Maven: A Developer’s Notebook (Developer’s Notebooks) Feature

Maven: A Developer’s Notebook (Developer’s Notebooks) Overview

Maven is a new project management and comprehension tool which provides an elegant way to share build logic across projects. In terms of capabilities, Maven is an improvement to Apache Ant-thanks to numerous plug-ins and built-in integration with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit. Tired of writing the same build logic for every project? Using Maven, you can leverage the experience of the community to avoid the tedious process of creating yet another build script for each new project.

Maven: A Developer’s Notebook begins by introducing you to the concept of project object model (POM), and then offers further details on the essential features of Maven. Like all titles in O’Reilly’s Developer’s Notebook series, this no-nonsense book skips the boring prose and cuts right to the chase. It’s an approach that forces you to get your hands dirty by working through a series of poignant labs-exercises that speak to you instead of at you.

Plus, Maven: A Developer’s Notebook is the first book on the subject to hit the market, so you know the information is fresh and timely. If you’re a Java programmer, you’ll be armed with all the critical information you need to get up to speed on this powerful new build tool. You’ll discover how Maven can help you:

  • manage a project’s build, reporting, and documentation, all from a central piece of information
  • break a complex project into a series of smaller subprojects
  • report on code quality, unit tests, code duplication, and project activity
  • create a custom remote repository
  • build simple and complex plug-ins

In the end, you’ll find yourself spending less time working on your project’s build system and more time working on your project’s code.

Learning Jakarta Struts 1.2: a concise and practical tutorial: A step-by-step introduction to building Struts web applications for Java developers

If you already have a Java background and are looking to learn how to use Struts for web apps, a good concise tutorial title would be Learning Jakarta Struts 1.2 by Stephan Wiesner.

Contents: Introduction to Struts; Hello Struts; The Struts Shop; Internationalization and Taglibs; Logging and Configuration; Forms; Logic; Exceptions; Controller and Templates; Putting It All Together; Struts Validator and Plug-In Classes; JSTL; Tools and Tricks; Solutions; Glossary; Literature; Index

This is a 200 page tutorial that assumes a basic background in your IDE of choice and Java in general. It’s written well, but there’s not a lot of hand-holding going on. The author dives right in and brings you up to speed on the concepts you need to know to work with Struts. The associated platform choices are all open source (like Tomcat and MySQL), so it won’t cost you anything to get started. Conversely, the coverage of these other software packages aren’t covered in great detail. You’re told where you can download the software, and quickly how to install it. If you have problems, you’ll probably need to check out other sources to fix them. The book follows a common development project throughout (a book store application), so it does a nice job of building on itself as it goes along. Couple that with the exercises sprinkled throughout the book, and you should be able to learn enough to become competent on the basics. For long-term Struts work, you’ll probably want to get a Struts reference book or check out the project website. Still, as a first book to learn by doing, Learning Jakarta Struts fairs well…

A step-by-step introduction to building Struts web applications for Java developers

  • Learn to build Struts applications right away
  • Build an ecommerce store step-by-step using Struts
  • Well-structured and logical progression through the essentials

In Detail

Jakarta Struts is an Open Source Java framework for developing web applications. By cleanly separating logic and presentation, Struts makes applications more manageable and maintainable.
Since its donation to the Apache Foundation in 2001, Struts has been rapidly accepted as the leading Java web application framework, and community support and development is well established.

Struts-based web sites are built from the ground up to be easily modifiable and maintainable, and internationalization and flexibility of design are deeply rooted. Struts uses the Model-View-Controller design pattern to enforce a strict separation between processing logic and presentation logic, and enables efficient object re-use.

The book is written as a structured tutorial, with each chapter building on the last. The book begins by introducing the architecture of a Struts application in terms of the Model-View-Controller pattern. Having explained how to install Jakarta and Struts, the book then goes straight into an initial implementation of the book store. The well structured code of the book store application is explained and related simply to the architectural issues.

Custom Actions, internationalization and the possibilities offered by Taglibs are covered early to illustrate the power and flexibility inherent in the framework. The bookstore application is then enhanced in functionality and quality through the addition of logging and configuration data, and well-crafted forms. At each stage of enhancement, the design issues are laid out succinctly, then the practical implementation explained clearly. This combination of theory and practical example lays a solid understanding of both the principles and the practice of building Struts applications.

What you will learn from this book?

  • Understand the Model-View-Controller architecture and how it is implemented in Struts
  • How to start building an application with Struts
  • How to produce well-crafted and robust applications using sound software engineering practices
  • How to build a complete application, in this case a web bookstore

Approach

The book sets out to get Java developers up to speed and confident with Struts as quickly as possible. It does not explain every feature in Struts, but takes a logical path through the essential information, with the emphasis on practical applications.

Who this book is written for?

This book is written for Java developers planning to develop web applications, who are new to Struts. It expects familiarity with Java, JSP and Servlets to a degree, although more obscure elements are explained. It covers Struts 1.2.

4 John Rhodes aka The Crypto Hunter speaking on Reptilians and Underground Bases

August 23rd, 2010

VIDEO PLAYLIST – www.youtube.com INTERESTING INFORMATION GIVEN….USE DISCERNMENT AND LISTEN…. REPOST DESCRIPTION FROM – SetYouFreee ‘Crypto Hunter’ John Rhodes discussed reports of reptilian humanoids, and secret underground locations that could house alien cultures, lost civilizations and government facilities. Descriptions by witnesses of the reptilians or “reptoids” show some variation though they are typically described as 7-10 ft. humanoids with reptile-like features such as three-fingered claws and vertical-slit pupils, with a demeanor that can run from benevolent to aggressive. The reptilians may have sought out refuge underground after Earth underwent climate changes some 12000 years ago, he theorized. Rhodes recounted testimony of a witness named Tal who had an encounter in 1979 with a glowing translucent reptilian in his home in Santa Fe. The being sent a geometric plasma ball toward him which transferred information into his mind, he reported. Rhodes recently appeared on an episode of UFO Hunters sharing his research on a suspected secret underground base in Dulce, New Mexico. The base is said to have seven subterranean levels, and according to a former security guard, mentally ill and missing people were being used as test subjects for bio enhancement experiments and the creation of “super soldiers.” Rhodes met with Jicarilla Apache tribal elders who confirmed to him that there was a base in the Dulce area, and a Hopi Chief said their ancestors had been
